Add our connector
Paste this URL into your AI client's MCP / Connectors settings.
https://api.pinguingo.com/mcp
If your client asks for a Client ID or Client Secret, leave them blank.
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector in Claude (web or desktop) and paste the URL.

Sign in
When your client connects for the first time, it will open a browser tab so you can sign in to your Pinguingo account. That's it.

Use it
Ask your AI assistant to add words directly to your Pinguingo list.
Add a single word
"Add gezellig to my Pinguingo flashcard list."
Add multiple words at once
"Add the following Dutch words to my Pinguingo list: …"
Save words from anything you read
"Save these five Dutch phrases from the article I just read to Pinguingo."
Troubleshooting
| When | What it looks like | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Client says no tools found | Empty tool list or connection error | Make sure the server URL is exactly right and you've restarted the client after saving the config. |
| Auth prompt doesn't appear | No browser tab opens on first connect | Try removing and re-adding the server in your client, then reconnect. |
| Words aren't appearing | Tool succeeds but list is empty | Check you signed in to the correct Pinguingo account during the auth step. |
