Connect to WhatsApp
Link your number so Pinguingo can drip vocabulary to you between sessions.
Pinguingo sends your daily flashcards through WhatsApp because that’s where you already are. Connecting takes about a minute and only needs to be done once.
What you’ll need
- A phone with WhatsApp installed and an active number.
- Permission to receive messages from a new business number.
Connect step by step
- From your dashboard sidebar, open Connect to WhatsApp.
- Enter the phone number you use for WhatsApp, including country code (for example,
+31612345678). - Open the verification message we send you and tap the link to confirm the number is yours.
- When the dashboard flips to Connected, you’re done. The next scheduled drip will arrive on WhatsApp.
If something doesn’t arrive
Most delivery issues come down to one of three things:
- Wrong country code. The number must include the leading
+and country code, no spaces required. - Outside message hours. If your configured window has already passed, the next drip arrives tomorrow. Adjust the window in Message settings.
- WhatsApp business filter. Some phones bucket messages from unknown business numbers into a separate folder. Star the conversation once and the rest land in your main thread.
Note
We never ask for your WhatsApp password or a verification code over chat. If a message claims to, it’s not from us. Report it.
Once you’re connected, head over to Getting started to add your first words.
